WHY MOST TRAINING FAILS

Training Commands Isn't Enough - Communication Is

Many dog training programs focus on getting dogs to perform commands in controlled settings. The problem? Real life is full of distractions.

I train dogs to succeed at home, on walks, and in public by building clarity, trust, and consistency-so good behavior last.

THE PLAY + PRECISION METHOD

Where Engagement Meet Structure

Our Play + Precision Method Training combines:

  • Play-based motivation to build confidence and focus

  • Clear structure and guidance for reliable obedience

  • Owner coaching so training continues long after sessions end

This approach creates calm, balanced dogs, and confident owners who know how to lead.

I TRAIN DOGS. I EMPOWER OWNERS.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What types of dogs do you train?
We work with dogs of all breeds, ages, and behavior issues. Whether your dog is a puppy or has been struggling for years, we have the tools to help.
How often will I receive progress updates?

You will receive updates from once a week to 3 times a week. You will get a check-in photo, progress video and content showing you where they have been and what they have been working on during their stay.

How do I get started with training at School For Paws?

The first step to enroll in our Board and Train program or private sessions is to schedule an evaluation. This allows me to observe your dog’s behavior, discuss your goals for them and briefly work with your dog so that we can recommend the best course of action.

Where does my dog stay during their board and train program?

During your dog’s stay he or she will live as part of our family, not in a loud stressful boarding facility. He or she will be living at our home interacting with my family and my dogs on a daily basis. Your dog will be treated as if it were my own.

Why do I need to schedule an evaluation?

An evaluation is important for me to observe any inappropriate or unwanted habits, and to gather a baseline of your dog’s behavior. It also gives us a chance to discuss training goals, while creating realistic expectations for our students and clients.

What support do you offer after the training program is completed?

We don’t just train your dog—we empower you as the owner. Every program includes three complimentary 90-minute private follow-up sessions, designed to give you the tools, confidence, and clarity to maintain your dog’s progress at home.

Plus, we offer lifetime support for your dog, so you can reach out anytime for advice, guidance, or troubleshooting—no matter how long it’s been.
